Desiree Wilson is a self-taught artist from Arkansas. She works with watercolor, gouache, and occasionally acrylic; her my favorite medium is any type of metallic or shiny paint: in her words, "there's just a unique look when light captures the sparkles in the paint, that is truly marvelous". Her work is inspired by the natural beauty of Arkansas and the moments in life that can't quite be captured on camera.
